Sell gold and silver in High Point

If you are in High Point with gold jewelry, silver, or a coin collection to sell, you come to us — we do not come as a High Point storefront. The shop is 605 Walnut St SW in Winston-Salem. The drive is similar to Greensboro: about 25 to 30 minutes.

Weekdays 10–4 work better than Saturday. Saturday we are only open 12–3pm.

How people actually get there

High Point to Walnut Street

The usual route

I-40 or Business 40 west into Winston-Salem, then drop down to Walnut Street SW. It is not downtown High Point and it is not a booth at a market.

What to pack

A box of jewelry is enough. Leave the costume pieces in if you are unsure — we test. Coins can stay in the albums. Do not clean silver with harsh polish before you arrive.

Time it right

Furniture-market weeks clog surface streets in High Point, not Walnut Street. Still: leave a little extra if you are aiming at the 4pm weekday close.

Fair, not theatrical

About 75% on gold — coins treated as coins

High Point has pawn counters and jewelers. Apex is a gold, silver, and coin shop. We pay about 75% on gold. Silver is weighed and sorted. Coins are looked at as a collection when they deserve it, not dumped straight into a melt bucket.

Jeff owns the shop. Tania runs the day-to-day, which means she is the person who answers when you call from North Main or the east side and ask, “Is it worth coming over with this?” If the pile is small, she will say so. If it is a family coin lot, come in.

No appointment is required during hours. If you have a large lot, calling first helps us not be three people deep at the glass when you walk in.

Ready when you are

Sell gold and silver without pretending High Point has an Apex location. Drive to Winston-Salem, or call and decide from the kitchen table.
